Course journey
Week 1-2
Feelings:
- I felt very anxious coming into the course.
- I was overwhelmed the first 2-3 days by how to answer the questions
- I did not enjoy the sales aspect of the course
- Did my best and tried to help others during group work if they were struggling
What I learnt:
- GDPR, and how it applies to copyright and data security
- Potential problems and risks in using digital devices
- Good habits for keeping private data secure
- Good and bad behaviours, how to identify and improve them
- Roles in a contact centre and how they work together
- How to speak to customers in a contact centre customer service role
- How to behave and conduct sales calls appropriately
- Techniques to use during a sales calls
Week 3
Feelings:
- Less anxious but still not feeling very confident in answers and group projects
- A lot less overwhelmed by the questions
- More comfortable asking for help with information
What I learnt:
- About cybercrime and methods criminals use
- Made a poster on hacking, how to prevent and real world examples
- What I can do as an individual to minimise risk to both my and the customers data
- Legistlation and the reasons they were created
- Played a bunch of Kahoot to review what we had learnt so far and won first place! đź‘‘
